Associated works include the adjustment of signalling and communication systems.

Parla Norte New Railway Station (Madrid).
This project involves the construction of Parla Norte station on the existing C-4 suburban network. Designed for future scalability, the new station will function as an interchange, providing direct connectivity with the upcoming urban tram extension.
The passenger terminal comprises three interconnected single-story modules (885.84 m2), visually unified by a canopy made with structural metal ribs and tubular Y-shaped pillars is included. Two platforms will be built, one on each side of the 210 m long railway platform, 110 m covered by a metal canopy and an underpass for communication between platforms through under-track jacking, service connections and urbanization. Adapting the current track alignment to the new station, given its curved geometry, requires adjustments along a 938 m section, alongside modifications to the electrification and Control, Command and Signalling (CCS) systems to suit the new operational configuration.

Track renovation works at the La Negrilla Logistics Center.
The scope of works is to enhance the terminal’s operational efficiency through the renewal of track components on the main lines (1 and 2), the arrival and departure tracks (tracks 4, 6 and 8), the M2 and the loading and storage sidings (28, 30, 32, 34 and 36).
Tracks will undergo full renewal, including the placement of a sub-ballast layer, the replacement of existing ballast with a new type 1 ballast and the installation of new PR-VE monobloc sleepers and 54 E1 rail. Maintenance is being performed on existing type A S&C units and the replacement with new types C1/C models on in the main tracks racks 34 and 36 will be realigned to comply with the standard gauge, while station drainage will be enhanced through new ditches and culverts. Additionally, any affected utility services will be adapted to the new configuration.

Cutting repair works from kp 61+200 to 100+700 and from 111+700 to 112+000 on the Ortigueira - Ribadeo section of Line 740 Ferrol – Pravia.
The scope of the works entails the execution of 11 interventions on cuttings identified within ADIF's Metric-Gauge Network Cutting Plan and the Risk Points Registry of the ADIF Contingency Plan. These interventions span a 55 km section of the Ferrol-Pravia line, between Ortigueira and Burela stations, aiming to mitigate the current risk of landslides and slope instability in these locations.
To this end, the project includes clearing and grubbing, slope reprofiling, the installation of high-tensile (TT) galvanized mesh with rock bolts, and the upgrading of longitudinal track drainage and crest drains, alongside the improvement of service roads and the surrounding environment.

Railway permeability improvement works on the Palencia – A Coruña line in O Barco de Valdeorras (Ourense)
A new underpass is being constructed beneath the access turnout to O Barco de Valdeorras Station on the Palencia – A Coruña line at KP 297+950, connecting Rúa da Rampa and Rúa Ramón y Cajal at the junction with Rúa Xirimil. This underpass is designed for vehicular traffic, while the existing structure will be repurposed for pedestrian.
The structure consists of a cast-in-situ reinforced concrete box, measuring 10 m (length) x 8 m (width) x 3.074 m (height). The roadway comprises a two-lane carriageway with 3 m-wide lanes and 1 m shoulders.
The scope of works entails the installation of two micropile walls, reinforced concrete retaining walls, and provisional shoring of cabling and track to maintain uninterrupted rail service throughout the project. Additionally, the works include ballast replacement under the turnout, restoration of railway signaling and telecommunications, track tamping and leveling, and the final development of the new roadway and adjacent urban areas.

Construction works for the level crossing removal project at KP 389+262, 389+948, 390+344, and 392+136 on the León - A Coruña line (Line 800) in Sarria (Lugo)
The project entails the removal of four level crossings on Line 800 within the municipality of Sarria, implementing specific engineering solutions for each site.
To remove the level crossing at KP 390+344, a new underpass will be constructed nearby. This structure consists of a cast-in-situ reinforced concrete box, measuring 12.60 m (length) x 3.30 m (width) x 3 m (height), which will be jacked into place using a thrust wall.
The level crossing at KP 389+262 will be replaced by a 395-meter access road crossing over the Arroxeiros tunnel. Likewise, the crossing at KP 389+948 will be substituted by a 110-meter road connecting to the LU-P-5713 road, which intersects the track an existing underpass.
Once the alternative crossings are completed, the original level crossings will be decommissioned and closed by installing metallic safety barriers (W-beam guardrails). The crossing at KP 392+136 will be removed and closed directly.

Emergency works and services arising from the August and September 2025 wildfires on the Covas – Monforte de Lemos – Ourense section: Infrastructure and track interventions
This emergency contract, awarded to COSFESA, encompasses the recovery works for damages caused by wildfires in August 2025, which affected the O Barco de Valdeorras – A Rúa de Petín and San Clodio – Pobra do Brollón sections of Line 800 (A Coruña – León). It also covers the wildfire declared on September 18, 2025, which remained active throughout the month, impacting the Canaval – Os Peares section of Line 810 (Monforte de Lemos – Bifurcación Chapela) and leading to a weeks-long traffic suspension.
To restore rail services, work began with the removal of burnt trees—both fallen and leaning—and debris from the track. Following an assessment of the affected areas, the project involves the replacement of sleepers and track sections where wooden sleepers were burnt, specifically at Freixeiro station and on the Cabe River metallic bridge in Sober. Additional works include felling, bucking, limbing, and tree removal, as well as clearing the formation level and slope stabilization, involving the replacement of retaining elements where required.
