Main products and services

OUIGO ESPAÑA SAU is a private company, a Spanish subsidiary of the French group SNCF Voyageurs, one of the main global players in traveller transportation, mainly by rail. OUIGO is the “low-fare” high-speed train operator that has arrived to Spain and aims to make high-speed accessible to everyone and every budget.

On 10 May 2021, OUIGO began its activity in Spain offering a high-speed service between Madrid and Barcelona with stops in Zaragoza and Tarragona. In addition, since 7th October, the company has been operating the Madrid - Valencia route. OUIGO will expand its activity in Spain by bringing its service to the cities of Alicante and Albacete in 2023 and, further on, to Cordoba, Seville and Malaga.

OUIGO operates a total of 10 daily departures between Madrid and Barcelona, with routes from 2 hours and 30 minutes and stops in Zaragoza and Tarragona and a total of 6 daily departures between Madrid and Valencia, in less than 2 hours. These routes are operated on board the modern fleet of 14 Alstom Euroduplex double-decker trains.
