OUIGO ESPAÑA SAU is a private company, a Spanish subsidiary of the French group SNCF Voyageurs, one of the world’s leading players in travelers transport, mainly by rail. OUIGO is the “low-fare” high-speed train operator that arrived in Spain with the aim of popularizing high-speed travel and bringing this means of transport closer to all budgets.
From May 10, 2021, OUIGO started its activity in Spain offering a high-speed service between Madrid and Barcelona with stops in Zaragoza and Tarragona. Since October 7, 2022, the company operates the route Madrid - Valencia and on April 27, 2023 OUIGO expanded its activity in Spain bringing its service to the cities of Alicante and Albacete. Since April 19, 2024 OUIGO connected Madrid with Valladolid and Segovia; and from September 5, 2024 with Elche and Murcia. In 2024 the company also added a stop in Cuenca on the Madrid-Valencia and Madrid-Albacete-Alicante routes. In addition, since January 16, 2025, OUIGO added to its destinations network the Madrid-Seville and Madrid-Malaga routes, both with a stop in Cordoba.
OUIGO operates a total of 10 daily departures between Madrid and Barcelona, with routes from 2 hours and 30 minutes, with stops in Zaragoza and Tarragona, and a total of 10 routes between Madrid and Valencia, in less than 2 hours. On the Madrid-Alicante route, with a stop in Albacete, it offers 6 journeys in about 2 hours. On the Madrid-Alicante route, with a stop in Albacete, it offers 6 trips in about 2 hours. OUIGO also offers 4 daily departures between Madrid and Valladolid, with a stop in Segovia, one of them linked to Alicante, passing through Albacete and Cuenca, and another one linked to Valencia, with a stop in Cuenca.
Since September 2024, OUIGO offers 4 daily frequencies between Madrid and Murcia with stops in Elche and Albacete, and 6 daily frequencies to Cuenca within its Madrid-Albacete-Alicante and Madrid-Valencia routes. In January 2025, OUIGO began it operations on the Madrid-Cordoba-Seville-Malaga route with 6 daily frequencies between Madrid and Seville and 4 daily frequencies between Madrid and Malaga, all stopping in Cordoba.
These routes are carried out on board the modern fleet of 16 Alstom Euroduplex double-decker trains.

As a novelty, in January 2025, the company inaugurated the line between Madrid and Seville, with a stop in Cordoba, with a total of 6 daily frequencies. And the Madrid - Malaga line, also with a stop in Cordoba, with a total of 4 daily frequencies, increasing the number of destinations to 15.
