Description: 

The extension comprises 1,747 metres, crossing over Metro Line 8 and beneath two motorways. The tunnel is built using mined methods (Madrid Method) and between diaphragm walls. The existing T1–T2–T3 station is also being expanded to form an interchange between Lines 5 and 8.
