She holds a degree in law and has served as a Professor of Administrative Law at Pompeu Fabra University and Communications Law at Blanquerna University.
Laia Bonet has been Secretary of the Government of Catalonia (2007- 2010), and Member of the Catalan Parliament (2010 – 2012), where she served as deputy spokesperson of the Socialist Group.
