In 2024, TRAM expands its network with the addition of three new stops that allowed the tram to reach Barcelona’s Eixample district. That same year, a historic record of 35 million validations is reached, bringing the total to 490 million since the service was launched 21 years ago. Year after year, this service continues to position the tram as the most highly-rated public transport option by users in the metropolitan area of Barcelona, according to the ATM’s Weekday Mobility Survey.
